A collaboration with your therapist to choose what’s best for you.
Every client is different and each massage is unique to each client’s needs! Our expert therapists will commence each session with a brief consultation and ‘check-in’ to see which areas need specific focus. Each session concludes with a ‘wrap up’ chat to clearly define areas of concern and a plan to guide you on your path to wellness.
Deep Tissue Massage
Using deep compressions, your therapist’s pressure is slowly increased as your muscle tissue relaxes and allows for the body’s deeper muscles to be accessed.
Using a combination of circulatory, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy, your therapist can help to alleviate pain and encourage proper fluid movement which reduces swelling and helps keep athletes in a state of peak performance. This specific style offers balance to any training regimen.
Myofascial Release Massage
Myofascial Release addresses the fascia, or connective tissue of the muscle. When there is tension in the fascia, underlying muscles and the structure of the body are pulled, leading to painful holding patterns in our posture. Myofascial Release uses stretching techniques that travel along the grain of the muscle fibers to lengthen the fascia and help release tension from the underlying muscle tissue. Techniques are also applied against the grain of the muscle fibers to break up and soften scar tissue and adhesions.
Neuromuscular Massage / Trigger Point Therapy
This work helps to alleviate pain as your therapist releases trigger points located within your muscle tissue. This is done by applying firm pressure held to specific areas in the tissue. This therapy is often combined with circulatory massage to help calm the nervous system.
Prenatal Massage / Postnatal Massage
Massage therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful choice to compliment your prenatal care. Sideline positioning with supportive, soft cushions or pillows are used to alleviate the strain on the lower back and pelvic areas. Please specify whether you are considered low or high risk so we are able to serve you accordingly.
Reiki is a Japanese technique using the gentle laying on of hands to conduct the energy force from practitioner to client to promote healing throughout your body, mind and spirit. Reiki stimulates the relaxation response, which enhances the natural rhythms of your body. This in turn promotes healing on all levels. Reiki goes to the root of a problem, healing from the inside out.

Upgrades and Addons
Coconut oil is an excellent natural emollient, great for relieving dehydrated skin. Coconut oil also is able to penetrate your skin on a deeper level than your average product because of its low molecular weight and the way it bonds with proteins. Why does coconut oil for skin work so well? In part, it’s due to the saturated fats that helps the skin stay moisturized, with the fat preventing moisture loss through the skin’s pores. These fats give the skin a healthy, smooth and even tone.
Add Arnica oil to your next massage and reap the benefits of this highly therapeutic treatment. Arnica is best known for its pain relief and inflammation reduction properties. Add this to your massage session if your muscles are sore and need some extra TLC.
